There are two methods we use.
The first is to scan a book page by page through optical character recognition into an editable
document. This can then be modified (if need be) and turned into an eBook.
The second is to take the text in an electronic form and edit it as an eBook. We can do this with colour and graphics
as desired.
Both methods take a fair amount of time. However, with eBook publishing we can clear up editing errors, make additions
or corrections and add graphics.
ePublishing permits wide distribution of material without the pressures associated with print publishing, which is, after all
profit driven. The negative aspect of prifit-driven paper publishing is that it tends to appeal to the lower end of the intellectual
spectrum.
Consequently, material that perhaps should not be published at all (as is the case with much of the material cranked out by
some 'Christian' television stars) receives wide circulation.
Thinking Christians will appreciate more generic material. it is our aim to present such.
